The module chip is ESP8285, its built-in storage is 16Mbit, and it has various certifications such as FCC/CE/SRRC. ESP8285 uses built-in flash, which has better antistatic performance than ESP8266.



Precautions
1. The maximum RF instantaneous current of ESP8285 can reach 400~500mA, so the minimum power supply requirement is 500mA. LDOs such as XC6206 and 7533 cannot be used;
2. The anti-static ability of ESP8285 is slightly weaker. In the dry season in winter, pay attention to electrostatic protection;
3. Based on the power supply requirement of 500mA, it is recommended that the power and ground traces be no less than 30mil. If there are vias in the power line, it is recommended to make 2~3 holes to prevent PCB production deviation;
4. For better RF performance, please refer to the module placement method in the manual. If the product has certification requirements, it is recommended that there should be no parallel wiring near the PCB antenna, and the download interface should reserve a pad away from the antenna;
5. Before downloading the program, it is recommended to wipe the module clean, otherwise there may be some failures to start;
6. If the module fails to start normally and keeps restarting, it is recommended to check the power supply line, including the parameters of the power supply material, the width of the power supply line, the vias on the power supply line, the diodes connected in series on the power supply, etc.;
